Our heartfelt appreciation to some incredible artists and musicians who help share ICC’s story of creating full lives for China’s abandoned children with disabilities:
ICC Ambassador - Ning Kam
She is a world-renowned concert violinist. Born in Singapore, Ning has lived, studied and performed all around the world but now resides in the UK. She has won numerous prizes at major violin competitions, including second prize at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition of Belgium in 2001. In 2009, she was invited to perform for the President of Singapore.
Ning became involved with International China Concern after getting married. Her husband was an ICC Sponsor and the mission and vision of ICC moved her to become an ICC Ambassador, performing at benefit concerts or gala dinners to help raise awareness for ICC.
ICC Celebrity Supporter - Corinna Cheng
She is a Hong Kong singer and actress. She is also a musical performer, model, and a TV host for TVB. Born to an Australian mother and a New Zealand father, her family arrived in Hong Kong as missionaries and Corinna was raised in Hong Kong and speaks fluent Cantonese
She sung for ICC in in the recent Walk the Wall Hong Kong 2017 and also helped narrate the promotional video of ICC’s “One Heart Campaign” 2019.
ICC Celebrity Supporter - Michelle Siu
Michelle is an award-winning vocalist and recipient of :
– HK Red Cross Humanity Youth Power Award (2017)
– HK Spirit Ambassador Award (2012)
Her eyesight was taken away from her in a cancer surgery when she was only three months old. Though she cannot see, she is a positive and optimistic young person gifted with a beautiful voice and exceptional musical talent.
She is very supportive of public welfare activities related to youth with disabilities. She has performed in ICC’s Circle of Hope Dinner in 2018, and helped promote ICC’s “One Heart Campaign” in 2019 in a video.
