【CEO Report】4th Quarterly Newsletter
Dear friends,
That was quite a challenging year.
I hope you and your family are safe, comforted and encouraged as we close the door on a difficult year and look forward to better times with a spirit of hope and gratitude for the blessings we enjoy.
It is always important to remember how blessed we are, and ICC has truly been blessed to be part of the lives of so many wonderful children, and to connect with more and more families who are committed to raising a child with a disability.
Yes, 2020 was difficult, but we are grateful that none of the children were touched by the coronavirus—none in our care centres and none among the hundreds of families we serve.
We learned more about ourselves and a lot about perseverance! My gratitude for the caring staff in Hengyang and Changsha is immense; they sacrificed their own comfort and time with their families to care for China’s most vulnerable children. We are so grateful for that.
We are also grateful for our supporters who, despite the challenges they faced in their own lives, made the effort to Walk the Wall or attend and online gala or offer a prayer for the young ones in China.
Thank you for your continued support, and may 2021 bring you much love, hope and opportunity.
