UK Board Chair Retires

Thank you Helen for your years of service

Helen Kay has retired after serving four years as ICC UK’s Board Chair and we wanted to say a big thank you to her for her faithful contribution and hard work. She’s taking some well earned time out to concentrate on her family.

Helen has a long history with ICC going back almost ten years. As part of Alison Kennedy’s home church and her cell leader, Helen wanted to support Alison in her calling to serve long term with ICC. (Alison is one of ICC’s long term volunteers in Hengyang) So, her relationship with ICC started long before she visited Hengyang on her first ICC team early in 2005. She has returned to China many times since then and was part of the first intercessors team to Hengyang, walking the streets, praying and claiming the ground for God.
Helen was also ICC UK’s first Area Rep and has been raising the profile of ICC in Sheffield since 2006, and she joined the UK Board in 2009. She is well respected and loved by many of the International ICC family.

We know that while she is taking a break, ICC remains her passion and she’ll still be advocating for China’s abandoned and disabled!

"While Helen will be missed in her capacity as a Board Chair in the UK, she remains a part of our ICC family," says David Gotts. "We hope both she and her family will continue to be blessed as she has been a blessing to others."

We give thanks for Helen and many others like her who make love, hope and opportunity a reality for our kids in China. If you’d like more information on the role of UK Area Rep or Trustee please contact judy.elliott@chinaconcern.org
