Use your travel experience and Mandarin speaking to lead ICC's China Teams programme into its next season.
International China Concern has an opportunity for a new China Teams Manager, based in Hong Kong. The China Teams Manager leads ICC's short-term service programme, called China Teams, giving people from all over the world opportunities to connect and engage with ICC's work in China.
Teams spend two weeks working at one of our projects—either in an ICC care home or in the government welfare centres that partner with us. Since 1993, ICC has taken teams of people from all over the world into China to work in orphanages, caring for those children and young adults that society has left behind. Teams build on the work of prior teams and of ICC’s permanent staff and long-term volunteers. The work of each China Team makes lasting and solid changes in the lives of those that ICC provides full-time care for.
The China Teams Manager is responsible for leading teams into China, planning and coordinating the future teams calendar and assisting ICC's network of National Offices to process China Teams applications. The role is also responsible for approving any visits to ICC's projects outside of China Teams.
If you are an organised, motivated, people person with a desire to use the balances of your admin skills, Mandarin language and travel experience to take others into China for an awesome experience, please email firstname.lastname@example.org today, attaching your cover letter and resumé/CV.
