Career Opportunity:  Admin and Finance Officer, ICC UK

Help grow the work of ICC in the UK

(Part-time, 21 hours per week, six-month temporary contract)


ICC UK is seeking an accomplished Administrator and Bookkeeper with a proven track record to support our work raising much-needed funds for our China-based projects. We need someone who can help us to provide first-class administrative and financial systems support to ensure the smooth running of ICC UK’s operations. 

This role is for 21 hours per week and is offered on a temporary six-month contract, with potential for a permanent role developing. 

Overall Purpose of the Role: 
Under the direction of the Development & Relationship Manager to: 

     • Manage the day-to-day administration and processing of donor gifts 
     • Manage the general office administration and support 
     • Manage monthly / annual budgets and reports 
     • Provide quarterly Gift Aid claims to HMRC 
     • Provide papers and support at quarterly Board meetings 

 Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
     • Well-developed computer and software skills, especially Microsoft Excel 
     • Previous experience of database systems 
     • Experience of budgeting and financial packages 
     • Ability to work well within a virtual environment 
     • Attention to detail with well-developed problem solving and time management skills 
     • Self-motivation and the ability to work within a self-directed environment 
     • Strong communication and English language skills
