Current employment opportunities

International China Concern is a Christian development organization working with China’s abandoned and disabled. Our work is supported by a network of offices around the world that raise profile, fundraise, and encourage volunteers to work in our China projects.

Serving at home: helping ICC raise funds and awareness

We have National Offices around the world that work to fundraise and to share the ICC story. These offices are a mixture of paid and volunteer staff.

Volunteer with us

We are always looking for volunteers to help in our National Offices in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, the Nederlands, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. If you are interested in helping in this way, please contact us.

Serving in China

Long-term volunteers are truly the lifeblood of ICC. If you really have a heart for China’s abandoned and disabled, consider joining our team.

Volunteers are self-supported through their own fundraising efforts. We ask that volunteers commit to six months at a minimum, but prefer at least a two-year commitment, to give you the opportunity to grasp language and culture and to make an impact.

Visit our Volunteering page to learn more about serving long term with ICC and the ways you can help.

Canada (Vancouver): Senior Copywriter (F/T)

We are looking for a full-time Senior Copywriter to be a key part of the Communications Dept. based in our Vancouver office.

You have a passion for storytelling, and know how to create compelling stories about the children and families we serve that connect with the hearts of our supporters to inspire giving. With ICC, we would put those skills to work to directly support the execution of our global communications strategy, strategizing and managing marketing initiatives and campaigns, writing strong content for external messaging and social media, and working closely with the other members of the department to support an international network of offices.

You would have a degree/certificate, or three or more years of proven workplace experience within a similar role. You would bring strong verbal and written communication skills to create compelling content, the ability to work virtually with coworkers in many different countries and have strong project management skills.

If you have a desire to work for an amazing not for profit that impacts the lives of China’s abandoned and disabled, as well as the supporters that make ICC’s work possible, then this could be the role for you. You can view the full Position Description here.
